Kids Halloween Party

We had our 3rd annual kids halloween party yesterday. It appeared to be a successful event (but it's always hard to tell when you are in the trenches). I have received confirmation that my kids had fun so really that's all that matters for me!

For activities this year, we decorated paper pumpkins, wrapped up like mummies and trick or treated inside my house. For snacks, we had chips and salsa, mummy lil smokies, pumpkin white chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, pumpkin bars and nutter butter ghosts. I had a lot of help with the food which was very much appreciated.

Oooh, those nutter butter ghosts are cute! I will do them Fri. for Tanner's class if I have to do food.

That was so cute. Looks like the kids really did have fun. I also was wowed by the ghosts. Dionne, Maddy and Dana are coming Wed, so we will have to make some.

The party looks like it was a hit! I love your girls costumes...I especially love Ellie's. I wanted my Ellie to be a witch, but couldn't find a costume. I thought that the costume fit a little with her spunky personality, perhaps it runs in the name? We will stick with Cinderella or Snow White!

the party was fun as always, thanks for having us! Your mom looks so much like Mandy in the pic where she is sitting on the floor. I guess Mandy actually looks like your mom huh?

Is that Tiffani Clinger I saw in one of your halloween party pics? Congrats to her for making it on your site. You're an inspiration Courtney. My kids begged for a halloween party this year and I'm afraid I just said, "I don't think so." We've only lived in Meridian, Idaho a couple of months. I didn't think we knew enough people. But if I took the Courtney approach I would have just done it rather than to find excuses why we shouldn't. Look at you- 5 under 5 and you're throwing parties for more preschoolers! Way to go!
